Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window
An aircraft carrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.
"The jet landed based on standard procedures and all passengers, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative stated in a online announcement.
He was traveling back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels during the flight.
This occurrence isn't the first time that a American defense plane transporting a high-ranking official has encountered mechanical issues.
Months ago, a US Air Force plane carrying the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was forced to return to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical problem.
