'Living a Nightmare': Relatives of Missing Teens Desperately Seek News After Alpine Inferno
The relatives of teenagers lost after a devastating blaze at a establishment in a Swiss ski resort are facing an agonising wait for official news and requesting information about their loved ones via social media.
The fire devastated the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the small hours of January 1st. Confirmed video depict the roof structure being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are raised in celebration.
Emergency services have indicated that it could take considerable time to identify the fatalities of the tragedy, which killed 40 people and wounded another 119. Officials stated on Friday that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with work still underway to identify the final individuals.
In the interim, loved ones have been posting on online platforms to appeal for any news about their loved ones who were present at the venue that night.
Desperate Searches for the Unaccounted For

The Italian Golf Federation has stated that he is no longer with us, without mentioning the fire, honoring a "talented young man who embodied dedication and authentic values."
